Your private tour guide will meet you anywhere in Dijon to start the tour.

Follow your guide to explore the historic center of Dijon. Your guide invites you to enter the ancient palace of the dukes of Burgundy. Inside the palace you will discover some treasures from the 14th and 15th century including the magnificent tombs of the dukes of Burgundy.

Your guide will also invite you inside an ancient noble mansion where you will admire a collection of painting and furniture from the 17th to the 19th century.

Dijon has a remarkable heritage included many Gothic churches. You will visit the church of Notre-Dame and learn the fascinating story of its 51 gargoyles. Follow your guide inside the church to admire its stained glasses from 1235. Outside the church you will also meet the famous owl of Dijon.

    We had a full day with Romain visiting wineries and then a half day of touring Dijon.
    He was excellent with both and he helped up with other tourist issues not related to the tours. In a day and a half he became a friend.

    5 stars without hesitation for this tour of Dijon with our guide Romain.
    For nearly four hours he took us to see the most iconic landmarks of this charming city which has all the advantages of a big city without any of the drawbacks. He also enriched the tour with countless historical anecdotes and explanations about the unique features of the places we visited. In short we didn’t see the time go by.

    We are very late in writing this but not because we weren’t pleased with our tour of Dijon. Au contraire!

    Romain gave us an amazing in depth tour of Dijon describing the extensive history gastronomie and viniculture of the region. The pace was great the stories were clear and woven together in a totally understandable way .
    His English is excellent and his depth of knowledge vast. He was a wonderful guide who tailored his tour to our interests and did not just spew off a boring canned lecture. It was truly a pleasure to spend a half day with him and we would definitely contact him again regarding other tours in other parts of France.

    We felt as though we had made a friend and were only sorry that our time with him had come to an end. Our apologies again Romain for posting this review so late.
